IHerbs: dishonest dealer

Dishonest dealer!!! I ordered and paid for over USD$40 in mid Aug (billed to my credit card and charged already last month!!!) and after a month you guys still haven't sent out the products to me (verified with the courier again the tracking no. is not valid and they have never received the parcel from iHerbs). And now, after hundreds of back-and-forth emails, you guys finally resent part of the order that only worth UDS$10 to me, saying that some products are not available (but i checked on the website that stocks are available!!!) Then why don't you refund me w/ the extra$30+ that I paid. It's your fault and mishandling, why should I, the customer, being PUNISHED!!!!! You guys are thieves!!!

Yes, they're thieves, they take your money and then their excuses are that the order was return to them due a wrong address. After 2 attempts and e-mails confirming your address and all they said is We do appologized for the inconvenience.

October 7th here. Still waiting.

Tried again to complain about still not getting the refund. Called my bank and they still say they have nothing for me with that or close to that amount pending nor already deposited.

Now they say they have confirmation that September 20th...

Hello,

I used to be a loyal customer of iherb.com but lately their service is horrible. They do not take responsibility for their mistakes.

My advice is to keep calling them, don't let them get away with this.

Stop emailing them they take days to answer.

Also call your bank and tell them what they have told you.

In shipment they sent an item my wife did not order or want, instead of an item I did order. Emailed them.

They said ordered item wasn't available. But why send something I don't want? Told them I will return wrong item if they send me a return label.

No comment on that.

Will dispute this with VISA if refund not forthcoming . Told the wife, don't order from them ever again.

iHerb sent an order to me on the UK which DHL messed up eventually sending the goods back to iHerb. iHerb agreed to sort out their issue with DHL and resend once I was back from Holiday. On returning from holiday I told iHerb to resend but I Herb refunded me instead. I have therefore paid for delivery of goods and UK tax for goods I have not received. iHerb agree one thing and then do another. I also await iHerb’s explanation from DHL US as to why they acted as they did in returning a package that was the subject of a complaint to their UK operation. DHL US will not speak to me and DHL UK say it is not them as the contract is in theUS.

IN THAT CASE UK CUSTOMS WILL RETURN THE ITEM TO IHERB AND IF THIS HAPPENED I NEVER HAD ANY FURTHER EMAIL STATING THAT AND GIVE ME A REFUND. Bad very bad day at Iherb

I ordered 12 bottles very nice bottles of shampoo, for Mothers day gifts,box arrived 2 days later. When picked box off my front porch it felt wet, then smelled strong odor from the box. Opened the box from Iherb saw goo mess all over box and bottles n packing materials. When i emailed Iherb about the lid off 1 of the bottles of shampoo, i was told oh u sould be able to wipe clean lol, we will replace the 1 bottle. I spent over 1 hour wiping bottles off n still oily n strong different smells, on other bottles. I got a shipped label and set bottles. Now it is there mess. never will order again.

I ordered herbs that I severely need for chronic health issues, and I even selected one day delivery (again, these are herbs I need for health issues). I got an email hours later saying that my order had been cancelled. Apparently there was a promotion code (which I did not enter), which had already been used. Somehow the promotion code must've been automatically populated on the order because I did not enter it. When I clicked complete purchase, the order seemed to be going through, and they even took the money off of my card. Not only am I not going to have the herbs I ordered, but I have to wait for days to have my money refunded. Ridiculous. I will never use them again. The worse part is that I really needed the herbs for severe health issues

I ordered a mascara which costed $9.55 plus postage which was $4.45, so the total is $14. I checked my bank account and saw iherb took out an extra $4.16. I do not know why they took extra because they sent me an email saying the total is $14. There is no explanation for why they took extra.

Customer Service sure to make problems worse

I tried a product called Bach's Rescue Remedy, and ordered 7 tins. On iherb site, I looked up the item, and ordered it. There was no indication whatsoever that this item has different flavors, no way to know when looking at it. I was sent some flavor that made me throw up, and sick for an hour. First, they would not cover the one tin I had one out of. Then, they said as soon as they got my return, I would automatically be able to get the order I wanted at the same price. First word I got from them was that my credit card was refunded, and it may take 8 days for me to get my money, after they already held it for 2 weeks. Then, when still trying to get my order timely, they refused prior discounts. Finally, I could get it, but, my card was refunded and that will take an 8 day wait for me to get the refund, then reorder. I advised them there needed to be a drop down Menue for different flavors. We are not allowed to talk with the person that set up this faulty ordering site. Then, I was told this is all my ordering error, and my fault. Customer Service made every one of their errors worse every time. Still no product sent, and I DEFINITELY WLL NEVER AGAIN ORDER FROM THESE IDIOTS only interested in holding your $, with no interest in fixing customer complaints.

I have a similar problem with them.I was contacted by *** and Lobos.

They shipped me a non vegetarian formula instead of a veggie formula.I always ordered the veggie formula.

They are refusing to accept the return.This is a lying deceitful business.They obstruct and deny hoping customers will be fed up and forget about it.

Consumers Unite. Complain to the various consumer agencie.Use the small claims court to fight their arrogance.

ordered goods within the limit (£15) in the UK. when DHL QUERIED WITH IHERB AS THEY'D LEFT THE COST OF GOODS OFF THE LABEL THEY GAVE THE WRONG FIGURE. More than double the cot of my goods because they gave with the cost of DHL 2DAY DELIVERY. As a result hit with a vat & duty bill. herb not willing to help don't even want to admit that on this occasion they did wrong. I have ordered with them for last 4yrs and usually they put the order value on the outside of the package. When contacted dismiss and rude. Go elsewhere folks they are now too big for their boots

Ordered 2 bottles of B vitamins. It cost me $75! That is outrageous. I used them before and never had a problem. I will never order from them again and they won't give me and refund. By the looks of all the reviews they must be kept in business by ripping their customers off.
